Mid sleeper with pull-out desk – designed to be stored underneath the frame when not in use, a pull-out desk is particularly ideal for those looking to save on space.

The advantage to buying a mid sleeper with desk is that you don't need to splurge on extra furniture, as they already have the desk they need. There's no excuse for not doing homework now!
Are there any mid sleeper with storage options?: Yes, there are plenty of midsleepers with storage options such as:

Mid sleeper with desk – whether built into the frame or as a pull-out option that can be stored away when unused.

Mid sleeper with drawers – storing clothing, games and more is easy with a spacious drawer, and many of our mid rise beds have built-in drawers or a handy unit that can be moved if needed.

Mid sleeper with shelving – great for personalising their bedroom, these feature shelving options such as along the back, front or at the ends of the frame.
How high is a kids mid-sleeper bed?: There isn't a concrete height that a mid sleeper should be, but on average, they are between 115cm and 130cm high. For a more precise measurement, double-check the dimensions of the bed you're interested in to find out the actual height before purchasing.
What age is a mid sleeper bed for?: We recommend that only children over 6 use a mid-sleeper bed. This is because they must be old enough to independently climb in and out of the bed via the ladder. If they're under this age, they might be unable to safely enter and exit the bed!

Can adults sleep on a mid sleeper bed?: There's no reason an adult can't use a mid sleeper bed, but it's important to remember that they are designed for children and teenagers. This means that a mid sleeper might not be able to accommodate the weight of a full-grown adult. Check the product listing or contact our customer service team to find out more.
Are mid sleeper beds safe to use?: Yes, our mid-sleeper beds are designed to the highest British Safety Standards to ensure your child's safety when using them. Does a children's mid sleeper need a special mattress?: No, a mid sleeper with storage does not require a special mattress in general. The only requirement will be to choose a mattress no higher than 16cm in height to allow the safety railings to operate as designed.
